Incredible access to all the best of New Orleans fun

This hotel is just a perfect base for exploring the vibrant streets of New Orleans, with the lively Frenchmen Street only a 10-minute stroll away and the famous French Quarter and Bourbon Street just beyond that, so you can dive straight into the local music scene and tasty eats; plus, with great cafes and bars like Who Dat Coffee Cafe and Siberia just around the corner, it really encourages you to venture out and enjoy what the area has to offer. The staff were welcoming and made my stay comfortable, and the hotel has a great ambiance with lovely courtyards. the breakfast could be a bit easier to find on property.

Hospitable staff all over the place.

I got complimentary family room with 2 queen beds as an upgrade, nice gesture. The staff were very helpful and outstandingly accommodating and assisted with free parking. The location was magnificent and lovely in a touristic area, near to a nice market and a sketchy establishment👌

nice location but desperately needs updates

The area is a quick 15-minute walk to the French Quarter. The staff were friendly during my room switch and seemed genuinely understanding.

The rooms are outdated, and that needs fixing.

The staff at Historic Mardi Gras Inn were exceptional and incredibly welcoming. the location of the inn was stunning, overlooking the city. - I loved the proximity of the inn to stores and a market in New Orleans.

The location of this place was perfect, just a short walk to the French Quarter, with the staff being very friendly and helpful, and our room had great amenities like a fridge, microwave, and air conditioner.

Everything exceeded high expectations and I had a fairly nice stay in the Old Town. The hotel was a reasonable base for enjoying a nice area, next to French Quarter, downtown, a nice market across the street. The breakfast had plenty of selection, the food was great. I loved the room with a balcony, the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

This place has an awesome location, close to a charming old quiet neighborhood. It's in a sweet residential area filled with colorful historic houses and some really good restaurants 🏡.
